Shareo Terms of Use

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Using Shareo

Shareo helps you keep track of your things, lend and borrow them with people you know, and buy, sell or give things away on Marketplace. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

You need to be at least 13 years old to use Shareo. You are responsible for your account and for everything you post or send with it.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive people

Shareo has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Don't post or send anything that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights. Don't spam, scam or impersonate anyone.

Don't list anything that is illegal to sell or give away where you live, such as weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, prescription medicine, recalled products, stolen goods or live animals.

You can report any person, listing or conversation, and block anyone, from their page, their listing or your chat with them. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these terms. We may suspend or delete the accounts of people who break them, without notice.

Lending, borrowing, buying and selling

Shareo is not a party to any loan, sale or exchange between people. We don't handle payments, inspect items or guarantee that anyone will return, deliver or pay for something. Agree on the details with the other person, meet somewhere safe, and use your judgment.

You're responsible for the things you lend, borrow, sell or buy, and for returning what you borrow in the condition you got it.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you add. You give Shareo permission to store it and show it to the people you choose to share it with (and, for Marketplace listings, to everyone on Shareo) so the app can work.

You can delete your content, or your whole account, at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account).

The app itself

Shareo is provided as is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, Shareo isn't liable for losses that come from using the app or from dealings between people who use it.

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use Shareo after that means you accept the new terms.
